Location: Atlanta | I find Galcon to be much more pleasurable when people are being nice and friendly to each other. I find it appalling when people waltz into the server with bad attitudes and try to cast it into the entire server. So, to that end, civility will be enforced in my server. Admins are encouraged to ask people with bad attitudes to lighten up. It's only a game, people, and you should have fun doing it. If you cannot do it, at least don't stop others from doing so. Players who insist on being uncivil, regardless of whether they are using profanity or not, will be muted. If a player insists on furthering their incivility by retaliatory suicides, games should be aborted and offender's kicked, followed by a ban for continuing abuse.
I like having a lot of admins in the server so there's always someone there to respond to abuse. I trust all of the admins of Bacon server to use their judgment and keep the games light and fun. Please do not hesitate to enforce the rules.
This policy extends to complaining about the timed game format. Go hang out in BooK's server if you really don't like them. Eventually people will play with you. It is not acceptable to sit in the server and ask everyone to switch servers because you enjoy ten minute standoffs.
