Yay! I get Diesel on my team! I see Becephalus has been hanging around lately--perhaps he could join us and it would be like old times. Although I seriously miss ThirdParty. That guy rocks! Anyway, I'm ready for a tourney any time. In fact, how about Tuesday? Gymkhana season has ended and my Tuesdays are now open. Pretty much any time in the p.m. is good for me. |

Tournaments always require a "sign-up" ahead of time. Phil or I will get this set up later today. I was also thinking Tuesday Dec. 30. Usually we start tourneys at around 7pm MST but we can be a little flexible with this. We don't want to start too late for our friends on the east coast.
Tourneys last 2 hours, 1 hour per round. The weaklings are picked off in the first round, with the survivors continuing to round 2 to finish eachother off. Winner of the most rounds wins the tourney. If we have more than 12 players we use more than one server. Victors from the first round move to one server to fight eachother for the 2nd round.
There is a STRICT no-stand-off policy in tournaments. Because we must determine clear winners, there needs to be an adequate number of games played. This means a strict 30-second limit on no activity, after which the game is aborted. There is no limit on game time, just inactivity time. This makes the games ruthless and cutthroat, with no boring lulls. One person presides over each server to enforce the rules of the tourney.
Anyway, I'll get that set up today. I hope I've adequately answered your questions. |
