Instead, if you're strong, truce with players early on so that you can attack other players that are weaker than you and gain all their planets. If you're weak, ask other players to truce and help you attack someone.
Yes I know it's nice to just wait for another couple of players to fight and then wipe them both out, but if no-one's moving you might as well accept that this isn't going to happen. Well ok it isn't always. Sometimes there just isn't anything you can do except hope you don't get attacked and wait for openings elsewhere. There's always a good attacking move that SOMEONE can make though, and it's frustrating to see players dragging out the game for no good reason.
At the end of the day, the aim is to conquer the entire map, so you might as well do it quickly. I'll admit that doing absolutely as little as possible all game and saving ships will make you more likely to win provided that the other players get bored quicker than you do, but it make's the game take forever and isn't much fun.
Personally, if I can take a few risks and try to outplay the others and win a game in five minutes then I'd rather do that than play a thirty minute game and try to bore my oponents into making a mistake :) |

I just truced two times with Luke,always when i truced with him he win :P First time when he got 2 planets,i 8 and could kill him,he wanted truce so i helped him to kill someone and luke take lot of his planets and win.
Truces could only win because its looks like team,Team play is great and winning always... |

I don't personally like the idea of trucing to work as a team in a free for all, except when it's joining with another weak player to fight a big one.
What I'm talking about here is simply agreeing not to fight early on so that you can safely attack another player without your neighbour jumping in and wiping you both. It's fair and usually better to end a truce once the game has progressed and the situation has changed. |

Location: Poland | 50% of players don't like trucing too,someone thing it's no honor or unfair,any very good player want to win alone,because it's big satisfaction...
